Is it legal to wear fingered gloves in rugby?
In rugby, are you allowed to wear gloves that cover the whole finger, or only fingerless ones? I went to a America and bought some American Football gloves-am I allowed to wear them in matches?
IRB Regulations actually cover this. Regulation 12, Schedule 1 states that the fingers can be covered only to the outer joint, and the glove/mitt cannot continue beyond the wrist.

Edit: Just a note to Rambo9468 -- they don't look stupid if you are playing in -10 Celcius conditions. Which some of us do. The ones who look stupid then are the ones who can't make or catch a decent offload because their hands and fingers are too numb with cold.
