would it be good for andre berto to fight manny or floyd at this time of his career?
he is young and i think he has a great future ahead of him, but should he stop calling out the "BEST" and just settle and prove himself to the likes of cotto, clottey, margarito or even mosley or any other well known boxer?
would he become an instant icon if he beat floyd or manny? or people would ask for more?

Berto without a doubt, even though most casual fans haven't heard of him, is the most dangerous boxer for both Manny and Floyd. Of course there are "BIGGER" fighters that could pose a problem. Berto is the same size or about the same "normal" size for these guys.
I don't think Floyd will fight this guy, until he loses or comes close to losing to someone Floyd KNOWS he can beat. Berto is fast, strong, and pretty damn smart. He has gotten rocked in a couple fights, but came back and soundly beaten them guys.
If Berto were to beat either guy, he would be an instant icon. From what I see, he is not too much of an arrogant punk either. He seems he could be a like-able guy for the public. Sadly...people would ask for more even after a win over Manny or Floyd...but that's what fans do...they want them to win...and win more against all odds.
